EKAP (Electronic Public Procurement Platform) is the Public Procurement Authority's system for running tenders. Companies register on EKAP, access tender documents and submit bids electronically, and the e-signature is at the centre of all this.
Where the e-signature is used
- Registering and logging in to EKAP
- Setting up the people authorised to act for the company
- Preparing, signing and submitting e-bids
Before you start
- Every authorised person needs their own valid e-signature. It's personal; a bid can't be submitted with someone else's.
- Check that your e-signature is valid beyond the tender date.
- Make sure the token driver and the components EKAP requires are installed.
The most common mistake: leaving the bid to the last day. If a driver, PIN or connection problem appears, there's no time left. Finish your preparation and a test signature a few days early.
E-bid steps
- Log in to EKAP with your e-signature.
- Access the tender documents.
- Prepare your bid and qualification details in the system.
- Sign the bid with your e-signature and submit it before the deadline.
EKAP's procedures and technical requirements change from time to time; follow the Public Procurement Authority's current guides.
