Getting an e-signature is easier than it sounds. If your documents are ready, the process is quick. Here's everything first-time applicants need to know.
Documents
- Turkish citizens: a valid ID card or passport
- Foreign nationals: a document with your foreigner ID number (such as a residence permit card) and your passport. See our guide for foreigners.
The list can vary slightly between providers; we confirm it with you before you apply.
Steps
- Choose the right certificate: an e-signature for personal transactions, a financial seal for company e-invoice and e-ledger. Not sure? Read the difference.
- Choose the period: 1, 2 or 3 years.
- Identity check: your identity is verified with your documents.
- Agreement: you sign the certificate agreement and the application is submitted.
- Delivery and setup: the token is delivered, the driver and signing software are installed and your first signature is tested.
How long does it take?
It depends on the provider and the identity check method. With complete documents it's done quickly; message us for the current delivery time.
Tips to speed things up: make sure your ID hasn't expired, have an active phone line in your own name, and have a Windows or macOS computer ready for setup.
After delivery
Never share your token or PIN. If you forget your PIN or it locks, see this guide.
